Welcome!

Since starting into practice as a clinical social worker my focus has been on treating trauma in one context or another. My first position was working with multiple drug and alcohol treatment programs, then hospice and medical social work, then finally in group/private practice. Even before returning to school as massage therapist, most of my client's were survivors of significant trauma. My goal with this blog is to share ways of approaching trauma, coping with everyday stuff, and foster hope.
